There have been several safety and security measures put in place over the last few months at CISD. We now have safety wands at the high schools; new blinds at New Tech High @ Coppell and CMS West as an added safety precaution; and, in conjunction with the city, a flashing crosswalk at New Tech for the safety of our students from the parking lot to the school. Also, don't forget that CISD offers a Parent Toolkit for lots of ideas, research, stats, and ways for parents to help their K-12 students now AND over the summer. This resource covers a variety of topics that parents can easily research by grade level, featured article, or by specific topic (just select a main category from academics, health & wellness, social/emotional, college and career, and financial).
